Who We Are

We are Shelley and Stuart MacInnes, the mother and step-father of Alexander Ciccolo, also known as Ali al Amriki, a U.S. political prisoner and victim of FBI entrapment in the “War on Terror.” Alex was abducted at his home in Adams, Massachusetts and is now serving an unjust and draconian sentence in federal prison.

We are American born Muslim reverts. Stuart is a military veteran who served his country. Shelley is the Family Support Coordinator for the Coalition for Civil Freedoms. She works to support families and their imprisoned loved ones with her experience in crisis intervention, prisoner support, and outreach. She helps others trying to navigate the challenges of supporting incarcerated family members.

Our lives were changed forever when our son was arrested and abducted at his home in Adams, Mass on July 4th 2015. The freedoms we believed to have felt like nothing but a delusion. The government we trusted destroyed the life of a young man and his family…and for what?  Many untruths were put out by mainstream media, the FBI, and those complicit in an agenda. This website aims to tell Alex’s story in its proper context, bring new insight, and to help others through the Ali Center for Truth and Justice.

We invite those devoted to doing their part to make a better world to have a place of peace and solidarity where we can gather, share our stories and concerns, and stand for the rights guaranteed to us as Americans and human beings.
